Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a prosperous family. Doody is the youngest of three. In a convent she developed an appreciation for arts. In the following years, she was a student at the National College of Fine Arts of Dublin however, she left because she was not motivated. She thought that she'd stop for a few days to get the hang of things. As she sat in a restaurant with friends She was contacted by a photographer who wanted to know if she'd want to do a modeling. Because she thought she could earn some money through modeling, she agreed. It was soon clear modeling to be profitable and enjoyable. She had the opportunity to travel the world with her commercial modeling after signing agreements. The casting director saw the work she was modeling and advised her to pursue acting. She was sent to London at the age of 19 which was where she won an audition to be part of the latest James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). It was because she loved acting that she worked in the same direction. Her first movie was followed by two more of TV dramas shot in London and Dublin. Then, her breakthrough was in 1989, when she was cast as the Aryan Seductress Dr. Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
